15. Graffiti (2009)

Graffiti is Chris' third studio album, following 2007’s Exclusive, and incorporates R&B, pop, rock, and Euro-dance styles. Graffiti was the first album released following Chris' assault case with then-girlfriend Rihanna, and the album failed to duplicate the chart success of Exclusive as a result. However, the album performed moderately on the charts, peaking at #7 on Billboard’s 200 chart.Graffiti also earned Chris two additional Grammy nominations in 2010.

14. X Files (2013)

X Files was announced via Twitter one day before its release, and was released due to the delay of Chris' then-upcoming studio album X. Released via DatPiff, the project features scrapped tracks from X, and its name is a play on this, and the sci-fi TV series of the same name. Since its release, X Files has been viewed over 870k times.


X Files includes features from Busta Rhymesand Ludacris and Chris' collaboration with Kid Ink“Main Chick,” which was later released as a single.

13. Fan Of A Fan: The Album (2015)

Fan of a Fan: The Album serves as the follow up to Chris and Tyga’s May 2010 mixtape, Fan of a Fan, and is their first collaborative studio album. The album was initially due to be released in the summer of 2014, shortly before Chris' September 2014 album, X. However, the album was eventually released on February 20, 2015 alongside an expanded edition that included four additional songs.

12. In My Zone: Rhythm & Streets (2010)

In My Zone: Rhythm & Streets is Chris' first mixtape, released via Live Mixtapes and hosted by DJ Drama and DJ Sense. Since its release, it has been viewed over 2.5 million times.

11. Slime & B (2020)

Slime & B is Chris Brown and Young Thug’s debut collaborative mixtape. Chris first hinted at the project via his Instagram story on April 6, 2020.


Chris officially announced the project on April 28 via Instagram, confirming its release date, title, and promotional artwork. The mixtape was notably set to be released on Chris’ 31st birthday.

10. Heartbreak On A Full Moon (2017)

On May 1st, 2016, Chris Brown announced his then upcoming eighth studio album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon in a now-deleted Instagram post.

The album was released via all digital platforms on the 31st of October 2017 and physical copies were released on the 3rd of November.

9. X (2014)

X is Chris' sixth album and the long-awaited follow up to June 2012’s Fortune. The album’s release faced numerous setbacks, with an initial release date of July 6, 2013, and being released 14 months after its intended release.

8. Breezy (2022)

Breezy is Chris’ tenth solo studio album, and the follow-up to his June 2019 album, Indigo. The album’s title, derived from Chris’ nickname, was confirmed by the star in a now-deleted Instagram post in September 2020.


Breezy was preceded by three singles: the upbeat and braggadocious “Iffy,” the smooth R&B jam, “Warm Embrace,” and the afrobeats-inspired “Call You Every Day”featuring Wizkid.

7. Fortune (2012)

Fortune is Chris' fifth album and the follow up to his March 2011 Grammy-winning F.A.M.E. Fortune marks Chris' first album released under RCA Records following the rebranding of Jive Records in October 2011.

6. Royalty (2015)

Royalty is Chris' seventh solo studio album, the follow up to September 2014’s X and his eighth album in total following February 2015’s Fan of a Fan: The Album. The album is named after Chris’ firstborn daughter Royalty and it was revealed in March 2015 that Chris was the father of then 9-month old Royalty by model Nia Guzman.

5. Exclusive (2007)

Exclusive is the follow-up to Chris' multi-platinum selling debut album and contains some of his best known songs to date. Exclusive was re-released in June 2008, including four new songs and behind the scenes content from tour and music videos.

4. Before Da Trap: Nights In Tarzana (2016)

The mixtape was confirmed by Chris himself on Instagram as the release of “Shut Down”was unveiled on his Soundcloud. OHB refers to Chris' clique that have stayed by his side through all the hardships of his career and it stands for “Original Hood Bosses”. Kid Red is a member of the elite club and Chris and Red have worked together previously, but this mixtape will mark their first mixtape together.

Indigo is Chris' ninth studio album and the follow up to October 2017’s Heartbreak on a Full Moon. The album has been teased since as far back as July 2018, when Chris got the word “Indigo” tattooed on his face.

2. Before The Party (2015)

Before the Party is Chris' sixth mixtape and the follow-up to November 2013’s X Files.Chris dropped the mixtape on Black Friday without any prior announcement and acts as a prelude to his seventh studio album, Royalty which was pushed back to a December release date.

1. F.A.M.E. (2011)

F.A.M.E. is Chris' fourth studio album, and the first album to be released in two years following three free mixtapes released in 2010. The album includes a multitude of genres, ranging from Chris' traditional R&B and rap to pop, electro-pop, and dancehall. 


F.A.M.E. debuted atop of the Billboard 200 chart, marking his first number one albumwith 270,000 units sold in its first week. F.A.M.E. also earned Chris his first Grammy award for “Best R&B Album.”
